Thanks chaps for your kind comments. Ceu, later in the interview we discussed the future of 2d , as the two directors have backgruonds in drawn animation and FX and in fact Graham Annable has his own channel on YouTube called Grickle you should check out. This can all be heard on the next podcast hopefully when the remaining part of the interview will be podded out to you. Annoyingly I wasn’t aware of Travis Knights comments about Laika producing 2D or I too would have asked about that.

Question; Travis Knight mentioned (in a San Diego Comic Con, if I´m not wrong) that Laika would also produce Hand Drawn films. Do you know something about it?

Boxtrolls & ParaNorman are so special animation features. Besides the
amazing technique and art craft impact, those films suggest that Laika will keep
bringing a necessary evolution in the general field of animation features.

Fabulous interview there Steve. Very in depth and informative. I still much prefer stop motion over any CG these days and these guys created some stunning scenes in Boxtrolls.
