Thanks Anna, however I said it was NOT autobiographical. The closest thing Tchaikovsky wrote to an autobiography was letters to his family which have been published as such. In the film Barry Purves uses these letters to narrate the piece but they are not presented as an autobiography. Thanks for your comment.
