As well as his involvement with the Late Night Work Club, he was recently involved with fellow LNWC founder <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skwigly.co.uk\/the-late-night-work-club\/\">Scott Benson<\/a>&#8216;s indie game project <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nightinthewoods.com\/\"><em>Night in the Woods<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-30399 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.skwigly.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/LNWCsean.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"219\" \/><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/seanbuckelew.com\">Sean Buckelew<\/a> (<em>Lovestreams<\/em>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Having received an MFA in Experimental Animation from the California Institute of the Arts and a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Sean has since worked on projects including <em>We Are Your Friends<\/em>, <em>Consuming Spirits<\/em> and the Annie Award-winning animated sequences of <em>He Named Me Malala<\/em>. Alonside his independent films he has worked with clients including Disney Channel, MTV, Arctic Monkeys, VH1 and Adult Swim.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-30400 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.skwigly.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/LNWCalex.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"219\" \/><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/alexgrigg.com\">Alex Grigg<\/a> (<em>Born in a Void<\/em>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Australian animation director and designer Alex Grigg has produced work for clients such as Super Deluxe, Netflix and Cartoon Network. Presently working at Mighty Nice in Sydney, Alex&#8217;s independent work includes the multi-award-winning <em>Ghost Stories<\/em> contribution <em>Phantom Limb<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/jeanettebonds.com\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-30401 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.skwigly.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/LNWCjeanette.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"219\" \/><\/a><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/jeanettebonds.com\">Jeanette Bonds<\/a> (<em>Departures<\/em>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Since receiving a BFA and MFA from CalArts for Experimental Animation, LA-based animator Jeanette has gone on to programme and participate in festivals including Slamdance, Platform, KLIK!, Fantoche and the Los Angeles Film Festival. In 2014 her student film <em>Trusts &amp; Estates<\/em> was nominated for an Annie Award. On top of her independent film work Jeanette is also the Co-Founder, Director and Artistic Director of the GLAS Animation Festival.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-30397 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.skwigly.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/LNWCloup.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"219\" \/><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/loupblaster.tumblr.com\">Loup Blaster<\/a> (<em>Freedom<\/em>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Presently living and working in France as an illustrator, animator and VJ, Louise Philia Druelle (AKA Loup Blaster) grew up in Calais and studied animation at ESAAT and Volda University College.\u00a0 In March 2012 she started <a href=\"http:\/\/cargocollective.com\/bbblaster\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BBBLASTER<\/a>, an illustration, animation and music project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/nicolasmenard.com\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-30396 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.skwigly.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/LNWCnicolas.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"219\" \/><\/a><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/nicolasmenard.com\">Nicolas M\u00e9nard<\/a> (<em>Wednesday with Goddard<\/em>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Nicolas moved to the UK from Montreal to study at the Royal College of Art where he produced the popular student films <em>Somewhere<\/em> and <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.skwigly.co.uk\/nicolas-menard\/\">Loop Ring Chop Drink<\/a><\/em>. During his career he has worked with dozens of clients including Google, la Cin\u00e9math\u00e8que Qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise, Universal and Time magazine. Alongside his work in animation production he is an active writer and researcher on the industry through such avenues as the leading UK animation resource Skwigly, for which he is Editor in Chief, and his books 'Independent Animation: Developing, Producing and Distributing Your Animated Films' (2016, second edition published April 2023) and 'Intimate Animation' (2025, co-written with Dr. Laura-Beth Cowley). As an educator he has lectured and tutored at AUB Bournemouth, University of the West of England, University of Gloucestershire and UAL Central Saint Martins.
